Embroidery is a tried and true way to create long-lasting branded merchandise. Unlike screenprinting, embroidery minimums and cost aren’t determined by the number of impression colors. This makes it a flexible tool for adding your design to everything from headwear to hoodies. Embroidery is a great fit for a lot of merch projects, but is limited in the amount of detail it can capture, especially with small imprints. In these cases, we utilized patches and woven labels. Embroidered patches, woven patches, and sublimated patches offer unique capabilities and opportunities to bring dimension, detail, and value to your merch. Scroll down to learn more!
Embroidery Minimums
Our minimum for embroidered goods is 25 pieces. A 10 pieces per variant minimum also applies to embroidered merchandise. A variant is defined by every distinct color or style of garment; there is no minimum for sizes within each variant.
Embroidery Turnaround
Turnaround for embroidered goods is 7-10 business days from art approval and payment. If patches or labels are being created for your project, turnaround averages 4-5 weeks.

Patches & Woven Labels
Embroidered Patches
Embroidered patches are what most people think of when they think of patches. Embroidered patches have a long-lasting, heavy-duty feel to them. Embroidery can add dimension and texture to a patch application but is limited in the level of detail that can be captured. Embroidered patches are great bang for your buck: buy 100, put 50 on hats, 25 on work shirts, and keep 25 to sell as merch!

Woven Patches
Woven patches are made with a loom and are great for high-detail patch designs. On headwear in particular, patch size is limited, thus limiting the amount of detail that can be captured in your design. Woven patches can capture small details in your design that embroidered patches cannot. Woven patches maintain a softer feel than embroidered patches and make a great decoration method when using un-structured or lightweight garments.

Sublimated Patches
Sublimated patches are printed digitally using sublimation. They are printed on a heavyweight twill and finished with a merrowed edge to give them the appearance, feel, and durability of a normal patch. The sublimation process allows sublimated patches to capture the highest level of detail, including gradients. When detail is of utmost importance, sublimated patches are our decoration method of choice.

Clip & Hem Woven Labels
/ Flat & Heat Cut Woven Labels
Woven labels add a premium touch to wearable merch.
Clip or hem labels fold over the edge of a hem. They can be sewn onto the bottom hem, sleeve hem, or pocket edge of garments. Clip labels also work wonderfully sewn on beanies.
Flat or heat cut labels can be sewn almost anywhere on garments and work especially well on headwear. These are similar to a woven patch, but tend to be softer and don’t have a merrowed edge like their patch-style cousins. These labels add a premium touch to tees and hoodies, but we most often use them for beanies and un-structured headwear that required a soft, pliable decoration method to maintain wearability.
